How to Change a Passenger Name On Southwest Airlines?
If any passenger wants to modify or change or correct their name on booked flight tickets of southwest airlines so follow the below-given instructions.
- Open any search engine and type the URL https://www.southwest.com/air/manage-reservation/index.html in the search bar.
- To get a name change, just enter the ‘Confirmation Number’ and ‘First & Name’ of the passenger.
- Next, press the ‘Search’ button and click on your flight ticket booking.
- Now, go to the name upgrade or change section and correct your name. (If you are eligible)
- Finally, select the suitable payment option and pay the difference amount. (If it is required there)
Furthermore, after correction or change of name, the new flight ticket will get from the linked email address & registered mobile address.
Southwest Airlines Name Change Policy:
- As per the policy, passengers can correct up to 4 characters of the first, middle & last name.
- Southwest airlines can’t change the name but can only change some special legal situations such as marriage certificates or divorce certificates.
- Passengers need to pay 150 US dollars for name corrections or changes if they request after 24 hours of the flight ticket purchase.
